The American Idol Top 3 were revealed on the May 12th episode. The American Idol Top 3 will all head home for the May 18th episode, depicting them in their hometowns in one of the more interesting episodes that Idol presents during the season. The American Idol Top 3 for 2010 are Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, and Casey James. It may be a surprising final three, but it still has two of the favorites that had been projected to possibly win the ninth season of American Idol. Now the final three contestants will really have the pressure turned on in the final four episodes of the show. The American Idol Top 3 will each perform on May 18th, then they will be cut down to a Top 2 on the May 19th episode.
